Once a year an entire highway spanning 675 miles and several states from Ohio to Alabama gathers together to sell their unwanted items. It is the Highway 127 Yard Sale – the longest yard sale in the world, and we found out what the obsession is all about. Plan Ahead

This is one of those trips where planning is a MUST!  Hotels are hard to find in key parts of the route and traffic is a mess most spots.  BUT…it is so worth the hassle!

We traveled through the Tennessee area for our Yard Sale experience and found a ton of treasures!  One suggestion that I have is if it is at all possible rent a pull behind trailer for your trip.  This way you can bring home ANYTHING that you find.  I found a fantastic hutch that I was just nuts over but had no way to bring it home.  This is where the planning comes in!
