The Park Vista Hotel was just finished with a huge renovation when we visited. And let me say…it was stunning! The rooms were very nicely decorated with a cabin feel…which is perfect for the area.
The front courtyard area had fun adirondack chairs that the kids enjoyed sitting in and fire pits all around to warm up on cool nights! One of the BEST things about this hotel (as far as the kids are concerned) is that it is a DoubleTree Hotel. Why does that matter? Because of the cookies they give out! Warm chocolate chip walnut cookies at check-in! And we found out that if you ask nicely you can have another at check-out! That was the best! |
