Orlando

Florida’s attraction mecca is Orlando. With everything from family theme parks to thrill-seeker destinations, Orlando is a favorite for so many types of families. In this episode we stayed out of all the major theme parks and hit some of the more local attractions! There is so much to do in Orlando that you will need multiple visits or a year long vacation!

Walt Disney World

Ok! Our family is a major Disney World family. We have been there so many times that we could write a book about it. However, there are many of you who have not been there so we filmed this episode to show you some of our family favorites and to give you a small start in your Disney vacation planning! New York City

The one and only New York City should be on every family’s short list of places to go while the kids are young! Of course not everyone will want to travel during Thanksgiving to the one-of-a-kind parade like we did, but we highly suggest it! We found that even with 3 million additional guests, the city is friendly, safe and affordable if you plan ahead. It is a city filled with memories to be made no matter how you vacation!

Indianapolis

If your idea of Indianapolis is nothing more than a couple of races, you need to think again. The city is filled with fun things to do with your family and its budget-friendly atmosphere won’t break your bank! While not the obvious choice for your next family vacation, if you find yourself in Indy for a convention or one of those races, there are plenty of things to keep the kids busy too!

Cincinnati

Do not plan to visit Cincinnati unless you plan to have a great time! There are so many things to do in that little, unassuming city that we have already planned a second stop to hit the things we missed! Outdoor fun, amusement park fun, sports fun – we did it all! And we found some of the best ice cream in the Midwest! Watch this episode and plan your trip to Cincinnati!

Pigeon Forge

Adventure abounds in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee and if you can’t find something to draw you there, you are not looking! There is so much to do in that part of Tennessee that we had to make this episode a two-part special. Watch this episode and take notes because you are going to want to visit Pigeon Forge with your family very soon.

Mackinac Island

Sitting at the northern tip of Michigan is a whole different world, Mackinac Island. Horses and bikes are the ONLY mode of transportation, fudge is made in abundance and the architecture is absolutely stunning. Niagara Falls is filled with beauty and magnificence. No picture can make you understand the power behind those falls, you have to experience it for yourself. And we did just that! Hwy 127 Yard Sale

Once a year an entire highway spanning 654 miles and several states from Ohio to Alabama gathers together to sell their unwanted items.  It is the Highway 127 Yard Sale – the longest yard sale in the world, and we found out what the obsession is all about.  From antiques to plan ole’ junk, we had a blast sifting through all the tables and tents in Jamestown, TN at the Highway 127 Yard Sale!
